fooks.co.il is operated by Fooks Media ("the site", "we"), Nahum Het 5, Haifa. We respect visitors' privacy and are committed to protecting the personal information given to us, in accordance with Israel's Protection of Privacy Law, 5741-1981 and its regulations, and — for visitors in the EU — the GDPR.

This policy explains what the site collects, what we use it for, and what rights you have over it. Using the site means accepting this policy.

What we collect

What you send us: when you submit the contact form, email us or call, we keep what you provided — name, email address, phone number and the content of your enquiry. It is used solely to answer you and to manage our business relationship.

Technical data: as on most sites, the hosting servers and the CDN (Cloudflare) record basic technical information in server logs — IP address, browser type, pages viewed and access times — for security, monitoring and normal operation.

Cookies and local storage

The site embeds no advertising analytics and uses no tracking or advertising cookies. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to: nothing non-essential is loaded. Fonts and libraries are served from this site, not from external networks.

Local storage: a11y-prefs — keeps the accessibility settings you chose (text size, contrast and so on) so they survive between visits. It stays in your browser, never leaves your device, and clearing site data removes it.

The CDN (Cloudflare) may set strictly necessary operational cookies for security purposes only.

Use and disclosure

Contact-form submissions reach our mailbox through a mail relay we operate (behore.co.il). They are not sold, rented or passed to third parties for marketing. Information is disclosed only as needed to answer your enquiry, where required by law, or to the technical providers essential to running the site (hosting, CDN, email).

Security and retention

The site is served over encrypted HTTPS and hosted on secured infrastructure. We take reasonable and accepted measures to protect the information, though no system can be guaranteed immune to unauthorised access.

Enquiry details are kept for as long as they are needed to handle the enquiry and manage the business relationship, or as the law requires.

Legal bases for processing

Answering an enquiry you initiated — steps taken at your request prior to a contract. Server and security logs — our legitimate interest in protecting the site. Keeping enquiry records beyond day-to-day handling — legal obligation, where one applies. We do not process data for advertising and we do not sell it.

Your rights

Under Israel's Protection of Privacy Law you may inspect the information held about you and ask for it to be corrected or deleted. Write to [email protected] or call 053-5240892 and we will handle the request promptly.

Visitors in the EU: under the GDPR you also have the rights to data portability, to restriction of processing and to object to it, and the right to complain to the supervisory authority where you live. The same email address is enough to exercise any of them.
